This past October, our community truly bloomed with vibrant color and joyful laughter at our second annual St. James Neighborhood Pumpkin Patch! More than just a festive event, this fundraising effort was a massive "friend-raising" success. While the shadows of the last pumpkins have disappeared, we know we can easily measure the hours volunteered, dollars raised, and pumpkins sold. However, the true harvest of our effort is the strengthened relationships and cherished memories created, especially among our younger neighbors. This success was a shining testament to the dedication of everyone involved, including:
● 60+ "Pumpkin Heads" - church members who volunteered in the patch.
● 75+ college students who lent their time and energy.
● 800+ neighbors and visitors from the community.
